Culinary travel | Gardening | agritourism

I feel lucky I grew up in a family that prioritized local producers, backyard veggie plots, and the slow enjoyment of gatherings at the kitchen table. My first real food memory is being frequently caught in our greenhouse eating (far too many) grapes off the vine before my mum would turn said grapes into homemade wine. Strawberries, my first veggie plot aged 5, and plenty of chutneys and jams from our garden’s damsons followed.

This love of food, its ability to spark memory, to reflect culture, place, and the people who pour their hearts and time into being community providers, has fostered a decade-plus-long career in culinary media in the UK, Australia, and Canada—primarily writing (brands + publications), but photography and short films too. You can find some of this cherished work below.

I focus on hyperlocal producers, foraged ingredients, community food security, and regenerative agritourism. I also volunteer with Greenways Land Trust (food security and conservation) and am the grateful steward of a 1/3 acre property that I am transforming from lawn into a rewilded landscape and edible garden.
